As a truly green decommissioning and recycling program, MRC strives to recycle and reuse 100% of every vessel, from nautical artifacts to the elemental mercury found in ballast gauges. The average MRC project boasts greater than 97% recovery or recycling, including the recycling and refining of oil sludges and contaminated petroleum wastes.

MRC maintains an aggressive scrap metal brokerage and sales business, to supply several Canadian steel mills and metal foundries, with the highest quality ferrous and non-ferrous metal feedstock.
